Re-writing history

Revised Sonnet

So I posted a shitty Sonnet (my first formal verse) the other week. The good news is my professor didn't hate it. In fact, I was so ready to get destroyed when she said (right after making technical comments): "I think you have it in you". Here's the less shitty revised version:
