The unsung song

A lost tune gradually increases,
Coiling in an imperceptible crescendo,
The melody is fighting against the noise,
Amidst them is a human only yearning for a good song.

The propensity to battle against thoughts after thoughts,
Is making the struggle even harder and harder,
The clamour in his head could not go away,
But love, when everybody needs it, leaves them astray.

Words of wisdom were just a mere rhetoric,
This hell on earth kept the music held captive,
Who to trust is the question remain unanswered,
As you listen to the breeze, there’s no sweet sound, only cruel.

The melody was grasped into silence,
The keys of the piano rose to the sky,
I falter as the beating of my heart went out of tune,
While the only moving thing in the portrait was dull air.

The silhouette danced into the unsung ballad,
It was so silent it pierced through my starving ears,
The piece was left undone with few sad notes,
Amidst them is a human only yearning for a good song.
